Using ensim to add email accounts - 22nd June 2007
Here are the instructions for creating email accounts using the Ensim control panel as used by our hosting company The Serve
1, Log in to www.yourdomain.co.uk/admin
2, Use your admin username and your password.
3, Once logged in press the 3rd button down on the left hand side (Mailboxes/Users)
4, Near the top will be 3 links “Manage Users : Add User : Set user defaults” click “add user”
5, In the username box type the first part of the email addres Ie. yourname
6, Then enter the users full name in the box below
7, then enter a password and confirm the password.
8, you can leave the “Services” options exactly as they are.
Once the account is created you can use it in outlook with the following credentials
Account Name/Username and Email address is: username(entered in step 5)@yourdomain.co.uk
Password as entered above
Pop3 Server: mail.yourdomain.co.uk
SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.co.uk
There is a setting in the “Servers” or “Outgoing Server” option that says “My server requires authentication” this must be ticked and set to use the same settings as your incoming mail server. Web Design News Index Web
